CONCLUSION
Innovation and projects are an inseparable pair. Innovation is a
value that combines content and form, strategy and tactic, and vision and pragmatism. In order to survive in the hypercompetitive,
continuously changing marketplace of today, organizations must
recognize, empower, and grow forward-thinking managers with
strong leadership skills. The managers must be ready to listen,
communicate, plan, share success and failures, negotiate, act, reschedule, work to improve all the organization's assets, challenge
stereotypes, and overcome the fear of the new. Innovation must be
pervasive, controlled, measurable, and implemented with strategic
attitude through an organizational project-management maturity
model and system engineering mindset. All this must be supported
by appropriate analysis models, processes, and tools that allow
managers to recognize and reduce offering costs, risks, and time
to market while enhancing the overall quality of the product..
