EGT PREDICTION OF A MICRO GAS TURBINE USING STATISTICAL AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
APPROACH
Artificial neural network (ANN) and multiple polynomial regression (MPR) techniques were employed
to investigate the relation between exhaust gas temperature (EGT) of an experimental gas turbine engine
and its rotational speed (RPM) as the output and input quantities of the engine, respectively. Both the
ANN and MPR approaches demonstrated good predicting capability for exhaust gas temperature using
data gathered by an experimental setup of a micro gas turbine engine with a RPM range of 0 ~ 108000.
Comparison of the predicted data of ANN and MPR methods with measured data shows that ANN has
better predicting capability than MPR.

A SURVEY ON QUADROTORS: CONFIGURATIONS, MODELING AND IDENTIFICATION, CONTROL,
COLLISION AVOIDANCE, FAULT DIAGNOSIS AND TOLERANT CONTROL
This article presents a bibliographical review on unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) quadrotors. This review of the literature is very useful for research studies and for engineering because it aims to develop
a chained database for the UAV quadrotor that starts with their design requirements and ends with their
prototyping. Subjects treated in this work include different configurations for quadrotors, linear and
nonlinear models used, different strategies for model identification and control, collision avoidance algorithms, fault diagnosis, and fault tolerant control strategies. Finally, different case studies are presented
and analyzed

NEW-GENERATION HYBRID GUIDANCE SYSTEM BASED ON INFRARED AND MILLIMETER WAVES
The new generation of homing anti-armor missiles capable of being launched without a tube and equipped
with infrared and millimeter wave seekers are a hot research topic. The aim of this study is to propose an
improvement to the fighting effectiveness of the homing anti-armor missile that would be accomplished
by improving the anti-jamming accuracy and ability of the existing seeker system. We aim to show that
a dual-mode guidance system based on infrared and millimeter waves can overcome the shortcomings of
the single-mode guidance systems and verify our theory through simulations.

LTE COMMSENSE FOR OBJECT DETECTION IN INDOOR ENVIRONMENT
In this work we describe a new method of using LTE (Long Term Evolution) telecommunication infrastructure to sense environmental changes. We call it LTE CommSense. The main concept of this technology is to focus on the known signal embedded in the data frames. It compares the received signal with the
expected reference signal to estimate the change in the environment. LTE uses a two-dimensional frame
structure of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) and multiple input and multiple output
(MIMO) which may yield better performance compared to previously existing communication standards.
The capability analysis of this novel scheme is presented in this article, first in simulation and then using
field-collected data captured with the help of a software defined radio (SDR) platform.

INTEGRATED ATTITUDE-ORBIT DYNAMICS AND CONTROL OF SPACECRAFT SYSTEMS: STATE OF
THE ART AND FUTURE TRENDS
Since the early years of the space program, precision orbit and attitude determination and control (OADC)
methods have evolved through research by astrodynamics. Due to the influence of disturbing torques on
orbital position and velocity and the influence of perturbing forces on spacecraft attitude, there is a nonlinear coupling between attitude and orbit dynamics. Several techniques have been developed to estimate
the force and torque acting on a spacecraft to improve the accuracy of the models. This paper provides
an overview of the issues and challenges of separate orbit and attitude dynamics and control (SOADC)
and integrated orbit and attitude dynamics and control (IOADC) and a brief review of modern OADC
methodologies that are routinely being used in the 21st century.
