Moreover, the fusion center is derived from the adaptive fusion algorithm to get an accurate target state. The structure of the
fusion of the infrared imaging subsystem and the millimeter wave
target detection subsystem is presented in Figure 14. The fusion
center adjusts the weight of the fusion algorithm [23] according to
different external interferences, and the target state is fed back to
the millimeter wave detection subsystem and the infrared imaging
subsystem. The steps of the fusion algorithm are as follows:
1. If the millimeter wave detection subsystem and the infrared imaging subsystem are not disturbed by interference, the state estimation and covariance of the millimeter wave detection subsystem and the infrared imaging subsystem are weighted optimally.
2. If the millimeter wave detection subsystem is disturbed and
the infrared imaging subsystem is not disturbed by interference, the fusion center estimates the target state and covariance; meanwhile, the target position determined by the infrared
imaging subsystem is transmitted to the millimeter wave detection subsystem to recapture the target.
3. If the infrared imaging subsystem is disturbed and the millimeter detection subsystem is not disturbed by interference, according to target information provided by the millimeter wave
detection subsystem, the infrared imaging subsystem captures
the target; then, the fusion method is used as presented in step 1.
4. If both the millimeter wave detection subsystem and the infrared imaging subsystem are disturbed by interference, the infrared target detection module searches for a target in the whole
target detection map; if a new target is detected, that target is
considered a real target and its tracking is performed.

CONCLUSION
A new-generation hybrid guidance system based on infrared and
millimeter waves is presented. In addition, an overview of related research is provided. The structure and operation process of a
proposed guidance system are explained in detail. Moreover, both

infrared imaging and millimeter wave guidance for target recognition are described. In addition, visual feature extraction and acceleration based on deep learning are explained.
The depth CNN was used to extract the target features. Furthermore, millimeter wave automatic target recognition based on
MNN was performed.
