to your entry form. This information will be used by the judges.
Judged Categories:
 1. Original (A typed, double-spaced, one page Artist's
Statement [see box below] is required, along with
the original sketches and/or photographs) See page
42 item #1 for details.
The Artist's Statement should briefly explain what you
were thinking when you designed your piece and how you
feel about it now.

 2. Adaptation (A typed, double-spaced, one page
Artist's Statement [see box under #1] is required,
along with the original sketches and/or photographs)

 3. Independent Project (State name of chart, book,
or designer. Describe any changes made in color,
stitches, or materials.)
 4. Painted Design Without Stitch Guide (State name of
designer. Describe your individual use of color and
stitches.)
 5. Painted Design With Stitch Guide (State names of
designer and stitch guide creator. Describe changes
you made in color, stitches, or materials.)
 6. Class Project (State class title, teacher's name,
and designer's name. Describe changes you made in
color, stitches, or materials.)

In entering my needlework to be exhibited at the
ANG Seminar Exhibit, I release American Needlepoint
Guild, Inc. from any and all liability incurred to
any piece while under ANG's care, custody, and
control. Furthermore, by entering my needlework to
be exhibited at the ANG Seminar Exhibit, I expressly
permit ANG to commission photographs to be taken
of my work while so exhibited, if ANG in its sole
discretion chooses to do so, and I further expressly
agree and understand that it is my responsibility to
secure permission from the Designer/Teacher/Artist/
Copyright Holder for these photographs to be used in
any manner that ANG shall deem fit and desirable.
I further promise to indemnify ANG for any action
resulting from the improper appropriation of
copyrighted material as it relates to this entry. I also
certify that I have read the Exhibit Rules on page 40
and agree to the terms and conditions listed therein.
