Meet the Board

Watch for the "Meet the Board" sign in the Hospitality Area
So you are not a chapter officer...but you are an interested ANG
member! Have you ever wanted to know what your dues do,
why we have an auction, or why we go where we go for Seminars? Have you ever wondered how you might help grow your
chapter's membership, recruit new ANG members, or develop
programs for ANG? We may not be able to give you all of the
answers to all of the questions, but we promise you the opportunity to share and discuss your concerns. Board members
will be available in the Hospitality Area at various times during
Seminar. Look for the "Meet the Board" sign and Board members with the blue name tags.

First-Timers Reception

Saturday, August 26, 5-6 p.m.
You have registered and settled in your room-now what? Join
us for the First-Timers Reception, meet the ANG Board members, and get a description of events and special tips for the week
ahead. Not able to be present? Don't worry. Your Participant's
Handbook, which you get at registration when you arrive, gives
you a day-by-day listing of all classes and events at Seminar!

Welcome Banquet

Sunday, August 27, 6:30 p.m.
The Welcome Banquet is a kick-off for an exciting week! Before
the banquet, gather early and see old friends and make some
new friends. The Board of Directors will welcome you and introduce our volunteers and faculty. The Special Award ribbon
winners will be announced and their winning entries will be
unveiled at the banquet.

Teachers' Showcase

Monday, August 28, 6-7 p.m.
Meet ANG teachers and gather information on their current
teaching pieces, their workshop fees, and traveling requirements. This is the perfect opportunity to see what is available
and collect information about the pieces that you might like
to have taught at your chapter. All needlework teachers (including those not a part of the Anaheim faculty) are invited to
participate. To request a table, you must be a registered Seminar
attendee. Use the Registration Form on page 38 and remember
that tables must be requested by June 30, 2017. Note: there will
not be any 1/2 (one-half) tables or special placements.

Golden Start Breakfast

Tuesday, August 29, 7:00 a.m.
This is a "by invitation only" event for major Golden Needle
Society donors. For more information, please contact: development@needlepoint.org.

Chapter Presidents and Officers Meeting
Tuesday, August 29, 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.

This meeting, sponsored by the Area Representatives, provides
a get-together with your peers from chapters across the country.
Discussions will include the issues and concerns that you face,
and the programs and policies that you share. Join your Area
Representatives and your fellow Chapter Officers for an informative and lively conversation.

Auction, Auction, Auction!

Tuesday, August 29 and Wednesday, August 30
Be sure to come to the Silent Auction and Buy It Now Event.
Your bidder number is in your Registration Packet. Come
browse the wonderful selection of canvases, books, and needlepoint accessories donated by ANG members, shop owners,
and other generous friends of ANG. Bidding begins on Tuesday
and ends on Wednesday, with pick-up available on Wednesday
evening. Keep checking on your bids and be sure yours is the
highest! All proceeds help to fund ANG's mission of education
in the art of needlepoint.

Expo!

Wednesday, August 30, 7-9p.m.
Okay, wish list, check, comfortable shoes, check, money, check,
check. Every needleworker's dream is coming true. Shopping
for those hard to find items, "stuff" you never even knew you
wanted, but you just have to have-you get the idea! There
is no admission fee for this event, and all attendees and the
general public are welcome. Look for the host chapter souvenirs, threads, needles, gadgets, canvases, and much more. If
you would like to sell at Expo!, please refer to the Registration
Form, on page 38, for table costs. To be a seller, you must be an
ANG member registered for Seminar, and the items sold must
be needlework related or of interest to the needleworker. The
deadline for receipt of table payments and completed contracts
is June 30, 2017.

Life Patrons Luncheon

Thursday, August 31, 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.

Cyberpointers Connection
Monday, August 28, 7-8:00 p.m.

Open to all Cyberpointers Chapter members, other online stitchers, and all those interested in learning more about the Cyberpointers Chapter. Greet your fellow chapter members and connect faces
with names! Future chapter projects and events will be discussed.

All Life Patrons are invited to join the ANG Board for this special
luncheon and time together. Come to enjoy our guest speaker
or just for the opportunity to meet your fellow Life Patrons and
make new friends. Make your reservation by using the Registration Form on page 38. We're looking forward to thanking
you in person for your special interest in, and support of, ANG!
