Hospital in Havana. As expected, the necessary paperwork to enter
the donated equipment through Cuban customs failed to arrive in
time for our trip. But, now, we have an excuse to return, and our
goal of a sustainable program is closer to reality. At the request of
the Cuban Ministry of Health and the Cuban Anesthesia Society, two
more missions are planned for 2017. We'll plan for summer travel
this time around.
