recently read an interesting statement on LinkedIn. It stated 2011 was a year of change. While LinkedIn was referring to the changes in employment for its members, I think it is an opportune time to mention some of the changes taking place in the regulatory world. Of course, when looking at regulations, you must realize that the gestation period of regulatory change parallels that of the Elephantidae family, which typically is no less than 22 months. So, when we talk about change, we may be talking about projects that started in 2010 and will be coming to conclusion in 2012, or about projects started in 2011 that will not see the light of day until 2013.
