wiring experimental panels in my garage to help supplement income from my full-time avionics technician position,” Krueger said. “Word soon spread that I was custom fabricating panels for experimental aircraft, and I ended up with a backlog of work that I couldn’t find the time to finish. “The only way to keep up with the demand was to wire panels on a full-time basis. It was hard to break away on my own since the avionics shop that I worked for treated me so well. I felt guilty because it was a great working environment, but I was determined to make it on my own.” Quickly outgrowing his garage, Krueger rented a T-hangar to add space, but soon it wasn’t enough; he needed to expand again. “With the support of my wife, we borrowed as much money as we could and purchased an avionics shop that was looking to sell,” he said. “We moved into a larger, 8,000-square-foot hangar at the Chino Airport in October 2003.” Krueger hired employees and added certified aircraft to his backlog of experimental panels, spurring

the business to grow even more and tripling sales in the second year alone. In just three years, he needed to move again, this time into a much newer facility with space for a large, interactive showroom. “Our interactive showroom features working displays for customers to actually see, touch and feel the equipment that they are interested in,” Krueger said,
