DUNCAN AVIATION announced
plans for a new maintenance hangar and facility to be built at its Lincoln, Neb., headquarters during an open-house ceremony for a new 45,000-square-foot paint shop that the company completed this spring. Duncan Aviation plans to begin construction this fall. However, specific details on the new facility are not currently available, as they are not yet finalized.
One of the key products PSI will be stocking is the Aerosonic 2-inch, 50K altimeter.
PACIFIC SOUTHWEST INSTRUMENTS announced it has been appointed distributor and authorized service center for AEROSONIC CORP. “In PSI, we selected a top-notch organization, with a long-standing history and proven track record of being one of the top instrument support facilities in the industry,” said MARK PERKINS, executive vice president of Aerosonic Corp. “Adding PSI as distributor and service center increases our company’s flexibility to effectively and efficiently distribute and support our core products.” Aerosonic, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the design, manufacture and supply of aircraft instrumentation and sensor systems worldwide. It offers mechanical and digital altimeters, airspeed indicators, rate of climb indicators and other flight instruments. “We are still evaluating our current and future needs as well as the continued economic climate,” said TODD DUNCAN, chairman of Duncan Aviation. “The size of aircraft our customers are flying has continued to increase, and, with the new paint facility, it is obvious we need more room for accompanying maintenance, modifications and completions work that our clients will need.” The new facility will likely include two hangar structures and three areas for office and backshop expansion.
