Mick Elcoate Garners Outstanding Apprentice Award
A highlight of the AEA South Pacific Meeting, which took place Nov. 12-14 in Adelaide, Australia, is the announcement of the winner of the Outstanding Apprentice Award for the region. Sponsored by EDMO Asia Pacific, Hamilton Aero and the AEA Educational Foundation, the award recognizes an apprentice technician – who is employed by an AEA member company – for exemplary performance and demonstrated professionalism in his or her field. Avionics Shop Inc. Gets Saucy
Congratulations to Avionics Shop Inc., an AEA member located at the Tacoma Narrows Airport in Gig Harbor, Wash., for winning the annual December EEDirect giveaway. All companies that submitted items for AEA’s EEDirect in December were eligible to win, and Avionics Shop Inc. was randomly selected as the winner. The company won a special treat from Fiorella’s Jack Stack barbecue restaurant in Kansas City, which was recognized as the country’s best barbecue by the Zagat survey.
