HAWKER BEECHCRAFT has appointed CUTTER
AVIATION'S Phoenix, Ariz., facility an authorized service

center for the Baron, Bonanza and King Air lines of aircraft.
Additionally, Hawker Beechcraft is adding the King Air line
of aircraft to service authorizations for Cutter Aviation’s
Albuquerque, N.M., service facility.
Cutter Aviation’s McKinney, Texas, service facility remains
an ASC for the Piston line of Hawker Beechcraft aircraft.
Effective immediately, Cutter’s Phoenix and Albuquerque
service centers are able to perform factory authorized
scheduled and unscheduled warranty services for the Piston
and King Air lines of aircraft.
Cutter Aviation in Albuquerque was originally appointed
a Beech dealer and service center in 1946, and expanded
the relationship to Cutter Aviation in Phoenix in the late
1950s, making Cutter Aviation Hawker Beechcraft’s oldest
authorized service center.
“The entire team at Cutter Aviation is thrilled to once
again be the authorized service center at our Phoenix
location for Hawker Beechcraft,” said WILL CUTTER,
president of Cutter Aviation.
“Generations of Cutter family and team members have
taken care of generations of Beech aircraft owners and
operators at our Phoenix location, and it is fitting that, as
Hawker Beechcraft embarks upon its new and restructured
operation, its newest authorized service center appointment
also is its longest-standing partner. My grandfather signed
our first Beech service center agreement with WALTER
BEECH in 1946, and I’m honored to be able to continue that
legacy and partnership with the newly reorganized Hawker
Beechcraft.”

The FAA issued an STC in late December to Cutter
Aviation’s Phoenix facility for the installation of a custom glasscockpit panel package powered by the Garmin G950 as a
retrofit to older model Piper Meridian aircraft to replace the
EFIS systems as originally installed.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. received
two certifications for its new flagship
aircraft, the ultra-large-cabin, ultra-longrange G650.
The company received the production
certificate from the FAA’s Atlanta, Ga.,
manufacturing inspection district office.
Gulfstream also earned a type certificate
for the G650 from the European Aviation
Safety Agency.
The PC was obtained in late December
and confirms Gulfstream’s production
processes for the G650 are in compliance
with Federal Aviation Regulations Part 21.
The FAA issued the PC after
Gulfstream completed an extensive FAA
production certificate audit conducted by
the Gulfstream organization designation
authorization office, which examined
Gulfstream’s engineering, supplier,
manufacturing and quality systems
to assure the aircraft are produced in
accordance with their design.
