JETTECH
JETTECH, a leader in developing afford-

able aftermarket aircraft solutions, has
added INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS AND
SUPPORT RVSM install capability to
its GARMIN G600 STC for Citation 500
Series aircraft.
By partnering with SOUTHERN STAR
AVIONICS, which owns an STC for an
RVSM air-data system, JETTECH is able
to complete a path to interface for its G600
glass panel retrofit for Citation models 500,
501, 550, 551, S550 and 560.
The teaming of the two STC holders will
allow most of the previously installed RVSM
equipment to be retained, thus reducing
cost and down time for the G600 RVSM
installation.
According to the company, the G600
modification is designed to provide pilots with
the highest degree of situational awareness,
including synthetic vision, terrain awareness,
traffic collision avoidance systems, digital
weather radar, satellite weather radar and
lightning strike information.
Installation kits will be available through
JETTECH-approved Garmin authorized
dealers along with a complete documentation package to support the installation
process.
In addition to the Garmin G600 STC
install for legacy Citations, JETTECH previously announced a Garmin G600 RVSM
STC award for Cheyenne III, IIIA & 400LS.
Also, JETTECH owns the STC install for
the Garmin GTN 650/750 touchscreen
series GPS for the Citation 500 series that
includes WAAS approvals.

JOHN CRABTREE as avionics manager. In his new role, Crabtree will

oversee an avionics department of 30 technicians.
Crabtree’s 28 years of avionics experience started when he was
an avionics technician in the U.S. Navy. In addition, he has worked
on a diverse set of aircraft while previously employed at Gulfstream,
StandardAero and, most recently, as the avionics manager of Hawker
Beechcraft Services.

TrueNorth Avionics
TRUENORTH AVIONICS announced its Simphonē Chorus cabin
communications system has received an STC for installation on a
Cessna Citation 560 aircraft, owned and operated by Tomlinson Aviation
Services. The STC, developed and completed by Duncan Aviation,
Battle Creek, Mich., encompasses a comprehensive connectivity solution
including TrueNorth’s Simphonē Chorus and SwiftBroadband 200 systems, Wi-Fi capability and handsets (both wired and wireless). The STC
applies to both Chorus and Duo editions of the system.
