Turkish Airlines recently selected the full suite of Rockwell
Collins avionics, including the MultiScan Threat Detection
System and GLU-925 Multi-Mode Receiver, and SATCOM for
17 Airbus A330s, 25 Airbus A320s, 20 Boeing 777s and 20
Boeing Next-Generation 737s. It also entered into a long-term,
customized price-per-repair service agreement with Rockwell
Collins to support avionics on its new fleet.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Airlines announced it is upgrading
its entire fleet of six full-flight simulators with Collins' EP-8000
image generation system, and Oman Air selected a full suite of
Rockwell Collins avionics, as well.
In addition, Rockwell Collins was recently awarded a multiyear contract with Alpha Star Aviation Services to provide its
Ascend flight information solutions.

Vector Aerospace
VECTOR AEROSPACE CORP. recently announced the

establishment of a new engine facility at Singapore's Seletar
Aerospace Park, which was specially built for the PW150A
turboprop engine.
The company will invest more than $50 million (Singapore)
in the construction, tooling and equipping of the new facility.
The expected completion date is set for late 2014, and it
will employ up to 140 individuals in a variety of repair, test,
engineering, commercial and support roles.

Jeppesen
During the recent Dubai Airshow, JEPPESEN announced
it will provide Emirates airline with Jeppesen Crew Rostering
services to optimize crew scheduling for its global commercial
aviation operations through a 10-year service agreement.
According to the company, Jeppesen Crew Rostering will unify
scheduling processes for 22,000 Emirates crew members
with the potential to expand to more than 32,000 global crew
members.

Jeppesen announced it has agreed to a new five-year
electronic flight bag service contract with MNG Airlines, which
will integrate Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro EFB services on iPad to
eliminate paper-based flight information.

During the recent Dubai Airshow, BECKER AVIONICS
announced the expansion of its dealership agreement with
Axnes Aviation AS for sales, marketing and product support for
the Axnes-produced Polycon wireless intercom system. The
arrangement includes the geographical extension of the two
companies' partnership beyond the Americas to include other
regions of the world.
The Polycon wireless intercom system integrates the
external operating crew into an aircraft intercom system and
provides increased situational awareness with uninterrupted
communication between crew members. According to Becker
Avionics, the Polycon system has become standard equipment
in search and rescue helicopters produced by several helicopter
manufacturers. To date, more than 700 Polycon systems have
been delivered worldwide.
