What qualities do you think make a
good board member?
I think it takes someone who is
willing to listen to and work for the
betterment of the AEA members.
Someone who is willing to share
their personal experiences and
knowledge, and help teach others.
Someone who has a passion to
further our industry and profession
so we all can look forward to a
more prosperous future for our
businesses and industry as a whole.
Is there anything specific you hope
to accomplish as a board member?
I would like to continue to promote
the value of AEA membership to
industry colleagues who presently
are not members, as well as share
our story with aircraft owners and
operators to show them the value in
working with AEA member companies.
I would like to continue to foster
the added values of professionalism,
high-quality workmanship, experience
and expertise, and compliance with
the rules and regulations. I would like
to continue to show high school and
college graduates that aviation is a
great career field to enter, and one
that will give them opportunities and
experiences not available with any
other profession or career.
What does being on the AEA board
of directors mean to you?
It is truly an honor to be able to
work with my industry colleagues to
better understand the challenges they
face day-to-day, find ways to work
together to promote our industry and
help all of us find new opportunities to
grow our businesses. q
