New
Satcom Direct
SATCOM DIRECT broke ground on its new Campus of
Excellence, which is scheduled for completion in August 2015,
and will serve as the company's new headquarters.
According to the company, the 41,212-square-foot, two-story,
LEED-certified building will feature an open floor plan that
maximizes the use of natural daylight. The new headquarters
will be located in Melbourne, Florida. The company is currently
housed in several buildings in Satellite Beach, Florida.
"Our Campus of Excellence is being designed to bring the
team together in an environment that fosters innovation and
creativity," said JIM JENSEN, Satcom Direct founder and chief
executive officer. "The building has both technological and
natural features to inspire our growing team."
Satcom Direct and its affiliate company, ndtHOST, recently
opened a 25,000-square-foot data center on the same property.

Precision Aviation Services
PRECISION AVIATION SERVICES was selected by MD
Helicopters to be an authorized service center.
According to the company, PAS is approved to provide
airframe maintenance, component overhaul, and part
and accessory sales to the operators of the MD 900/902
Explorer helicopters and the 500 and 600 series helicopters,
the complete line of helicopters manufactured by MDHI.
With the addition of the PAS service center, MDHI has
46 authorized service centers supporting 2,500 helicopters
in use worldwide. PAS is the first in the Southeast to

service the complete line of MD helicopters, and one of
four centers in the world to service the 900/902 Explorer.

Precision Aviation Services appointed DAVID A. FORD
president. Ford comes to PAS from Chromalloy Gas Turbines,
where he was general manager of one of the company's largest
divisions, Chromalloy Component Services, which specialized
in complex engineering repairs of large gas turbines.
