Gulfstream G650
GULFSTREAM AEROSPACE CORP. appointed
CLAREY sales director, North American
Sales, Southwest. Based in Tempe, Ariz., Clarey
will be responsible for sales to new and existing
customers in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico
and Utah.
In addition, the company named KEVIN DUTTON
vice president, operations finance. Dutton will lead
financial functions for the organization in the U.S.
and Mexico.
And in December, Gulfstream Aerospace celebrated
the one-year anniversary of the first customer delivery
of the ultra-large cabin, ultra-long-range Gulfstream
G650. According to the company, Gulfstream delivered
nearly 50 G650 aircraft to customers during the year.

Astronics
ASTRONICS completed the acquisition of PGA Electronic in December for
approximately $31.2 million. Located in Chateauroux, France, PGA Electronic has
190 employees, and designs and manufactures seat motion and lighting systems,
primarily for business and first-class aircraft seats. It is a provider in Europe of
in-flight entertainment/communication systems, as well as cabin management
systems for private VVIP aircraft.

FreeFlight Systems
that fellow AEA member company Ezell
Avionics of Breckenridge, Texas, has
completed installation and gained the
first FAA field approval certification for the
RANGR FDL-978-TX and 1201 WAAS/
GPS ADS-B Out system in a PA-24-260
Piper Comanche.
According to a statement issued by
FreeFlight Systems, the installation
and first field approval gained by Ezell
Avionics is representative of the ongoing
expansion of certifications of FreeFlight
Systems RANGR ADS-B systems. Ezell
Avionics plans installations of RANGR
systems in other aircraft, including a
Cessna 182 and a Beechcraft Baron.
