A Viking DHC-300 Twin Otter cockpit upgraded by RUAG Aviation
RUAG AVIATION received European Aviation Safety Agency STC approval for
the Garmin G600.
In addition, the company received EASA STC approval for the MD302 SAM
(standby attitude module), which is manufactured by Mid-Continent Instruments and
Avionics, in the Viking DHC-6-300.

Pro Star Aviation
PRO STAR AVIATION recently completed New England's first Garmin G1000

installation for a Beechcraft King Air B200.
According to the company, the G1000 retrofit suite integrates all primary flight,
navigation, weather, terrain, traffic, radio frequency, engine and fuel data readouts
on large-format, high-definition LCDs providing safety, reliability and increased useful
load.
"These modifications transition the King Air into a top-in-class airframe in
performance, crew and passenger safety, and increased hull value," said KEVIN
HARRIMAN, Pro Star's general manager.

COLLINS.
Walker has more
than 25 years of
aerospace
and
James Walker
defense industry experience, including 15 years with the Royal
Australian Air Force. Following his career
in the Air Force, Walker spent nearly
10 years with the Boeing Company in
Australia.
Since 2012, Walker was the chief
executive officer of AutoCRC Ltd., and
he previously served as CEO of QMI
Solutions Ltd. Both are technology companies based in Australia.
