According to ATEQ-OMICRON, the company
has developed the ADSE 650, which has
the needed features of more expensive,
heavier, RVSM-compliant test sets. The
company said the new product packs all
of those features into a lightweight and
portable (13.22 pounds) package.
"With built in pumps that
allow up to 60,000 foot
altitudes at 6,000
feet per minute
and an airspeed
up to 650 knots,
this is the future
of convenience
in pitot-static testing," said PATRICK BROUSSEAU, product specialist
with ATEQ-Omicron. "A fully programmable software system allows you to
define your own test procedures step-by-step and save the settings, saving
you time and hassle. Operated by a wireless touchscreen tablet PC, this
unit was designed to set the standard for RVSM pitot-static test sets, and
priced to aggressively change the market."

EMTEQ was awarded a contract from Greenpoint Technologies
to provide LED interior lighting for
two Boeing 787 VIP completions.
EMTEQ has supported Greenpoint
Technologies for more than nine
years. The program utilizes EMTEQ's
newest lighting products, including
white wash and dome lighting.

EMTEQ's LED Red Beacon Light
replacement kit for the Embraer ERJ
145, part number EMB145-RBL-900,
received an approved PMA supplement from the Federal Aviation
Administration.
The company also received
FAA supplemental type certificates
for installations of an ICG Iridium
SATCOM and Rockwell Collins
ACARS on a Boeing 767-200/300/-300F.

Universal Avinonics Systems Corp.
UNIVERSAL AVIONICS SYSTEMS
CORP. appointed ROBERT KLINE to
the newly created position of airline
sales manager for the U.S. and Latin
America sales regions. He will be
responsible for maintaining Universal
Avionics' existing programs and
relationships within the airline market
Robert Kline
segment, as well as seeking and
developing new programs in those regions. He will be based
in Virginia.
Kline brings more than 25 years of experience in program
