The next year, Jupiter introduced several new products
at the AEA International Convention & Trade Show. In
2013, both Transport Canada and the Federal Aviation Administration granted Jupiter a technical standard order for
its inaugural product, the seven-user JA95 Audio Controller. In addition, TSO-C139 will be automatically accepted
in Europe thanks to its inclusion on the "Common TSO
List" within the bilateral agreement between Transport
Canada and the European Aviation Safety Agency.
During the next year, Jupiter Avionics introduced several innovative new products, including the JA37 Aural
Message Generator, the JA34-BT1 Universal Adapter -
Radio and Bluetooth, High to Low Impedance Adapter,
and a wireless headset adapter with radio transmit
capability. During this highly productive time period, the
company was granted CAN-TSO-C139 design approval
for its JA95-002 Six Transceiver Audio Controller.
In May 2014, Transport Canada authorized Jupiter
Avionics to perform the delegated functions of a design
approval organization. This delegation has greatly reduced the lead time for certification of new and derivative products.

of confidence by Transport Canada on JAC's design control
capabilities," said Mitch Stinson, company president.
The company has experience, and it's not afraid to use
it. The founders of the company grew their careers and
gained industry experience at NAT, and that experience
taught them how to avoid pitfalls. It took NAT many
years to become qualified as a design approval organization. Thanks to the experience of the Jupiter Avionics
management and engineering teams, the company earned
the same qualification at lightning speed.
Jupiter Avionics has brought this experience to bear
by investing in design, test-witnessing approval and self
sufficiency.
"We streamline things to suit us," Brunsden said. "Our
growth has been in output."
Brunsden stressed the rapid rate of product approvals
and steady growth in manufacturing, and he also stressed
the importance of close personal relationships, such as
the partnership with Dallas Avionics.
"Dallas Avionics doubles our presence at trade
shows," Brunsden said.
