What qualities do you think
make a good board member?
I guess I'll find out soon enough.
But if I had to guess, honesty
and integrity are paramount and
having the ability to speak up with
fresh, new ideas and perspective,
and to offer opinions when
something doesn't seem right.
We live in a fast-paced world, and
having the ability to adapt quickly
to the changing environment
around us may also prove to be a
helpful skill.
Is there anything specific you hope
to accomplish as a board member?
Educational initiatives will
continue to be important for
many years as we look to hand
off the baton and increase the
overall workforce. I look forward
to focusing more time and energy
here.
What does being on the AEA
board of directors mean to you?
I'm thrilled for the opportunity
to serve on the AEA board of
directors. The AEA has been a
tremendous resource over the
years. I'm elated to help give
back to the association and to the
membership. I've seen firsthand
the impact the AEA has to the
overall industry, and I'm excited
to have the opportunities to share
my knowledge and viewpoints to
help keep us all pointed toward
future success. q
