PS Engineering
PS ENGINEERING introduced
the PDA360EX, a new product that
fills a void in the higher-end audio
panel market designed exclusively
for experimental aircraft. According
to the company, the PDA360EX
provides access to the new technology known as IntelliAudio while at
the same time reducing the cost and
optimizing operation for the home-
builder. Work on the PDA360EX
began shortly after the introduction
of the FAA-approved PMA450 Audio
Panel during EAA AirVenture in
2014.
According to Mark Scheuer,
founder and CEO, "The response to
our Dimensional Sound (IntelliAudio)
has been phenomenal, but the certified PMA450 has more functional-
ity than the homebuilders needed.
The average homebuilder does
not need marker beacon receiver,
cockpit speaker amplifier or use
of more than a four-seat intercom.
Eliminating unnecessary capabilities
helps to reduce the cost of this noncertified audio panel."

DAC International
DAC INTERNATIONAL, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, added HAYDEN CLARKE as its new sales representative.
Clarke will support DAC's European marketing and
sales division and will be
responsible for the general and
business aviation sales development in Europe. His duties
include working with all current
dealers and customers to grow the company's existing
base in Europe. Additionally, he will be assisting with the
company's push into the helicopter modification development programs.
Previously, he was a sales coordinator/executive with
Trig Avionics. He will be based in the south of England.

DAC International successfully collaborated with ABC
Completions Inc., a privately held Canadian corporation,
on its system to convert an existing EFB mount into an
iPad tablet mount.
The FAA recently approved ABC
Completions' STC for the iPad and
iPad Air as a Class 2 EFB. DAC
International is providing two GDC64 TAIUs that supply electrical power to the tablets
for recharging the tablet battery, as an interface to the
aircraft's FMS for display of aircraft's position and for
presentation of graphical weather from an optional XM
weather receiver.
