VIH Aerospace
VIH AEROSPACE was awarded
Transport Canada STC SH14-43 for
a replacement Master Caution Panel
(Model MCP01) for the Bell 212 series
helicopter. FAA and EASA approvals are
pending.
ARNE ARNESON, general manager
for VIH Aerospace, said the new, lightweight Master Caution Panel installation
will greatly benefit Bell 212 operators.
"The current Bell 212 Master Caution
Panel is wholly based on 1960-era
design and technology; and this fact
consistently results in issues of reliability
and even failure that most often results
in extended repair or complete replacement of difficult to procure replacement
panels," he said. "This ultimately results
in aircraft downtime and loss of revenue
for the operator."
According to the company, price for
VIH Aerospace's new panel is equivalent to the cost of one day of operator
downtime.

L-3 Aviation Products
L-3 AVIATION PRODUCTS

launched its Lynx MultiLink Surveillance
System line of ADS-B products. The
company has submitted for TSO
authorization for the Lynx NGT-9000,
one of several models in the new line.

"The Lynx NGT-9000 is unlike anything in the marketplace and delivers
a unique set of features for general
aviation pilots," said LARRY RIDDLE,
vice president of marketing and sales
for business, regional and general aviation. "In addition to getting ahead of
ADS-B compliance, the unique benefits
of a single-box solution, straightforward
installation and the reasonable cost of
the NGT-9000 make it an ideal product."
According to a statement issued
by the company, Riddle noted that
advance market interest has been
strong and the company has already

received early orders for the product.
In a separate announcement, the
NextGen GA Fund said it has secured
an order for 10,000 L-3 Lynx NGT1000s as part of the "Jumpstart GA
2020." The program is intended to
accelerate the general aviation community's adoption of rule-compliant ADS-B
Out avionics. Orders can be placed by
FAA-authorized repair stations through
either L-3 Aviation Products or directly
to the GA Fund.
The Lynx family comprises four
models, including an ADS-B In/Out
model with a Wi-Fi display option for
personal electronic devices, as well as
models for the display of ADS-B information on dedicated cockpit multifunction displays. All Lynx models provide
ADS-B Out compliance to FAA 14 CFR
91.227.
A free app is available that simulates
the Lynx touchscreen on iPad and
Android tablets.

NavWorx
NAVWORX announced its ADS600-EXP Universal
Access Transceiver, an ADS-B technology solution for
experimental/LSA aircraft owners. According to the company,
the NavWorx ADS600-EXP is now available for installation
in experimental and light sport aircraft and performs to the
requirements of the FAA's ADS-B rule.
Following the FAA's recent announcement of a revised
ADS-B rule giving experimental aircraft more options, the
ADS600-EXP meets the mandatory performance require-

ments of TSO-C154c for aircraft operating in the U.S, and
transmits SDA=2 and SIL=2. The new product is based on
the NavWorx ADS600-B, which has received FAA TSO/STC
certification.
Optionally equipped with the TSO-certified
TransMonSPETM, the ADS600-EXP will interface with older
transponders. The ADS600-EXP communicates with a wide
variety of display systems via Wi-Fi and RS232.
