variety of services, including charter,
air ambulance, aircraft management,
helicopter missions, and third-party
avionics and maintenance services.

In addition to its four King Air 200s solely equipped
for air ambulance services, Fast Air employs a staff
of skilled medical personnel. The company maintains
three satellite bases in Northern Manitoba to
facilitate remote medevac operations.

With its aircraft, Fast Air provides services throughout
Manitoba, including remote Arctic areas, as well as flies
worldwide with its jets. Four of the King Air 200s are
configured just for air ambulance service. Three satellite
bases in Northern Manitoba facilitate remote medevac
operations in Northern Manitoba, the Canadian Arctic
and other parts of the country. The other four King Air
200s are dedicated to chartered flights.
In 2013, Fast Air upgraded its entire fleet of King
Air 200s with the Garmin G1000 avionics suite and
the CenTex HALO 250 modification, which adds 920
pounds of payload capacity by increasing the maximum

takeoff weight from 12,500 pounds to 13,420 pounds.
The upgrade is available for any 200-series King Air.
Fast Air was the first maintenance facility in Canada to
perform it.
Together, the Garmin G1000 flight deck installation
and the CenTex HALO 250 modification enhance safety
and situational awareness and increase the aircraft's
range and payload, respectively. The combination
is especially helpful for Fast Air's medevac service,
providing the ability to transport multiple patients on a
