Garmin has reached several major milestones toward the certification of the G5000 in the Beechjet 400A and Hawker 400XP aircraft.

Deck is nearing certification.
Garmin also announced availability and the addition
of several popular business aircraft to a comprehensive
aircraft model list, which are eligible for ADS-B
solutions through select members of the Garmin
authorized dealer network. Garmin's suite of ADS-B
solutions address the market's desire for a cost-effective
ADS-B In/Out solution among popular business aircraft,
while leveraging existing equipment to minimize cost
and installation time associated with an ADS-B upgrade.
In addition, Garmin announced new incentives
to provide King Air aircraft owners and operators
significant savings on the G1000 Integrated Flight Deck
and qualifying P&WC engine upgrades. The upgrade
incentives apply to a broad range of King Air aircraft
models. On the King Air 300/350 aircraft, customers
will receive a free G1000 Integrated Flight Deck
upgrade with the purchase of a new pair of PT6A-60A
engines via P&WC's Fleet Enhancement exchange
program. Other eligible engine and avionics upgrades
will qualify for savings of up to $105,000, providing

expand aircraft utility and improve the capability and
reliability of their King Air aircraft.
Gogo Business Aviation
Gogo Business Aviation announced several cockpit
and operational applications that will be available for
use with its ATG 1000 in-flight connectivity system in
the business aviation market. Via the Gogo Biz network
service, the ATG 1000 system already enables voice,
high-performance email with attachments, and calling
and texting with passengers' own smartphones and
mobile numbers. The announcement means that it will
also support select cockpit and operational applications
through Gogo's partnerships with the industry's leading
app providers, according to the company.
Gogo also announced the introduction of automatic,
in-hangar wireless update capabilities for Gogo Vision
in the business aviation market - along with several
other new features. Gogo Vision, selected earlier in 2015
by NetJets, serves up a licensed library of the hottest
Hollywood movies and TV shows. It also includes
features such as news, a flight tracker, flight progress
information, destination weather, screen sharing,
in-cabin file transfer and more.
