Garmin
Prior to the NBAA Convention in Orlando, GARMIN
announced availability and the addition of business
aircraft to a comprehensive aircraft model list, which are
eligible for ADS-B solutions through select partners within
the Garmin authorized dealer network. According to the
company, Garmin's suite of ADS-B solutions address the
market's desire for a cost-effective ADS-B In/Out solution,
while leveraging existing equipment to minimize cost and
installation time associated with an ADS-B upgrade.
"For nearly two decades, Garmin has been the leader
in ADS-B with the most fielded solutions in the industry,
and today we are leveraging this experience by bringing
a variety of cost-effective ADS-B solutions to thousands
of business aircraft owners and operators," said CARL
WOLF, vice president of aviation marketing and sales.
"Together with our partners, we are excited to provide
an ADS-B upgrade path to a wide-range of aircraft that

are individualized to each airframe, so many business
aviation operators have an easy and economical solution
to achieve airspace modernization initiatives."
Garmin noted that its suite of ADS-B solutions provide
integration between existing equipment such as TCAS
systems and transponder control heads, which alleviates
the need for time-consuming and costly legacy system
upgrades. Garmin's beneficial and cost-effective solutions
satisfy global ADS-B requirements while providing pilots
and crew with a familiar interface to the upgraded system.

Garmin will expand its portfolio of integrated flight deck
upgrades to now include a G5000 modernization program
for the Citation Excel and Citation XLS. The G5000 will
feature three high-resolution, 14-inch flight displays with
dual touchscreen controllers.

ALTO Aviation
ALTO AVIATION was chosen by Innova Aerospace
to provide cabin control switching for the Citation 560
Aircraft Modernization Program.
The new ALTO Cadence Switch System is designed
to include modular discrete switch assemblies to control
speaker and headphone audio. Additional modules are
also attached within the same custom bezel housing for
cabin lighting control and video source select. An aux
audio input and USB charging port is also included in the
switch panel configuration.

removing various options as desired by our customers,"
