flight instruction, and it recently added Part 135 air
taxi certification to conduct charter flights throughout
the Northeast. As an authorized Robinson service
center, Mansfield has been handling its own helicopter
maintenance for 20 years.
"In-house maintenance offers us the flexibility to ensure
our fleet is operational at all times," said Tina Lindberg,
corporate officer and sales manager. "Inevitably, some
projects are better suited to specialty shops. When that's
the case, we outsource."
In Mansfield Heliflight's 20,000-square-foot,

multimillion-dollar facility, technicians service Bell,
Robinson Helicopter and American Eurocopter aircraft.
The company maintains an extensive inventory of more
than 100,000 new and used parts.
The company is pursuing Part 145 certification to
its repair station, allowing the facility to expand its
maintenance capabilities and give more helicopter
operators in the Northeast the ability to use Mansfield's
highly trained, highly experienced team of technicians.
