In addition to FAA approval, Safran Engineering Services
intends to seek appropriate approvals with Transport Canada
and the EASA that will streamline the installation process for
ADS-B Out equipage in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
The third announcement made by Blue Avionics described how the BA-440 Router/Filter provides Flying Colours with the transponder interface and ARINC 429 monitoring for the STCs of ADS-B solutions on Bombardier
Challenger 600-2B16 (604 and 605) aircraft with Rockwell
Collins Pro Line 4 and 21 flight decks with TDR-94D (-500
series) transponders.
The pairing of the Blue Avionics BA-440 Router/Filter, Collins GPS-4000S SBAS GPS, and TDR- 94D (-500
Series) transponder certified by the Flying Colours STC
provides CL-604 and CL-605 operators with a solution that
is fully compliant with the mandate.
