"We were at the last AOPA Summit event in Palm Springs when this guy came up to our booth and asked if we'd like to license a new piece of audio technology developed and patented by the U.S. Air Force," he said. "We were busy so I took his card. What really stuck in my memory was his tweed suit. He looked like a lawyer." A week or so after the show, Scheuer was going back trough the stack of business cards he had collected and came across the one from the tweed guy. "Turns out he was a patent attorney representing the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and he was looking for an avionics manufacturer to license and produce this revolutionary new audio technology," he said. "He had me at revolutionary new audio." In fact, the revolutionary new audio technology he
