AEA elects new board members
Members of the Aircraft Electronics Association
recently elected the following representatives to
serve on its board of directors for a three-year term
that began April 2016 and concludes April 2019.
*	 Bill Hanf, Green Mountain Avionics
*	 Tom Harper, Avidyne
*	 Danni Higgins, Avionics Hawke's Bay
*	 Garry Joyce, IAE Ltd.
*	 Jerry Stooksbury, Avionics Specialists
*	 Steve Wysong, Wysong Enterprises

In Memory

Of those elected to serve, Hanf, Higgins and
Stooksbury are the three newcomers who begin
their first year of service on the board, while
Harper, Joyce and Wysong were re-elected by
the membership to serve another term.
David Loso of Jet Aviation St. Louis serves
as the chairman of the board and begins
his third year in that role. In addition, the
board elected Joyce to serve as its new vice
chairman. q

RODNEY WYSONG

RODNEY WYSONG, vice president of Wysong Enterprises, passed
away April 17 at the age of 35 following a three-year battle with brain
cancer.
He helped the company evolve from a small avionics shop that
worked on electronic news gathering helicopters to an internationally
known maintenance, repair and overhaul shop. He recently won the
40 Most Influential People Under 40 Award in the Tri- Cities Region of
Tennessee and Virginia from the Business Journal.
Wysong was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived
by his wife, Lauren Templeton Wysong; father and mother, Stephen
and Kimberly Hermesch Wysong; sister, Holly Davis-Wysong, and her
husband, Jonathan Davis; and sister, Kelly Wysong.
His father, Stephen, is a member of the AEA's board of directors.
A service honoring and celebrating his life took place at the Grace
Fellowship Church in Johnson City, Tennessee, on April 22.
