AEA 2016: NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTIONS

ne of the major attractions at each
year's Aircraft Electronic Association
International Convention & Trade Show
is the New Products Introductions. The session - which
requires most of a morning - is
an opportunity for AEA members to share news of their latest products and services with
their peers. Companies large
and small, and from all industry segments, participate in the
event and use it as a forum to
encourage show attendees to
stop by their exhibit floor booth
and learn more about their new
ARTEX ELT 3000
products. For many companies,
it's their first appearance at an AEA
show, and an opportunity to introduce themselves to the
market they serve.
On April 27, 2016, 30 companies participated in this
year's event. Each presented the latest news about
themselves and their offerings, with large, established

household-name companies participating right along with
smaller startups. The industry segments represented ran
the gamut, from hardware manufacturers to test equipment providers to in-flight communication services, and
everything in between. Each had something new and interesting to present.
Taken as a whole, the New Product
Introductions session at the 2016 AEA
International Convention & Trade Show
presented some of the best the avionics industry has to offer. Some truly
new and innovative solutions were described, as were the latest and greatest
equipment and services. For anyone
keeping tabs on aviation generally and
avionics specifically, the annual session is a don't-miss event, and 2016 didn't disappoint. In
