The CPD is initially available for the Robinson R22, and installations aboard other rotorcraft are under development.
The CPD has a small footprint, and does not require scarce
cockpit or baggage-compartment space. HeliTrak said all
documentation for an FAA STC/AML has been submitted and
it is awaiting scheduling for the approval flight test.
HeliTrak said its autopilot is a lightweight, affordable
system featuring Level A software and triplex hardware
architecture, for the highest safety and design assurance
levels recognized by the FAA. A built-in air data attitude
heading reference system and triple-redundant sensors for
the two-axis autopilot provide unusual attitude recovery and
continuous low-G warning. The autopilot is completely selfcontained, with all controls mounted on the pilot's cyclic for
thumb operation, and has two operational modes: heading
and altitude hold, and heading and speed hold.

services and even video games won't slow down the network. Additionally, the AVDS features up/down video and
frame-rate conversion, and supports both NTSC and PAL

Jupiter Avionics is a Canada-based firm formed in the aftermath of Northern Airborne Technology's closure in 2010,
and includes several senior executives from that company.

AEA Convention. Before 2016, the company had announced
a total of 24 new products. The company's 2016 appearance
added 14 more to the list. Among them are:
*	 The JA97-001 audio controller with RX volume controls.
The device serves up to seven users, managing as many
as six transceivers and four receivers. The JA97-001 includes a built-in adapter for non-aircraft radios, duplex
mode transmission for cellphone operation and transmit capability for two flight crew members and two passengers.
*	 The JA95-N22/N32 flight and medical crew audio controllers. This product also serves as many as seven users
per panel. The JA95-x22 includes an intercom system tieline isolate function and configurable call alert messaging. The JA95-x32 series, meanwhile, builds in a patient
audio on/off function and a call switch.
*	 Four new additions to the company's JA37 line of aural message generators, each with varying features to
include different input message count and message
length, and voltage or sensor triggering.
Jupiter Avionics also added to its line of switch panels
with removable legends and custom text, and brought out
two new USB charging products, one featuring a glove box
