These L-3 products soon will be joined by a new transponder, the NXT-700, an ADS-B and DO-260B-compliant
replacement unit targeting the business jet market, including
models from Hawker, Gulfstream, Cessna Dassault and Bombardier. The company expects STC/AML approval in September 2016.

Laversab
Laversab got its start in 1982, as a supplier to government
agencies worldwide, including the U.S. Air Force and U.S.
Navy, of high-accuracy, pressure calibration instrumentation.
Today, its line of pitot-static and air-data test equipment is in
worldwide use, with its model 6300 two-channel pitot-static
test set perhaps the best known. At the 2016 AEA Convention, Nandu Balsaver, Laversab's president, introduced his
company's latest innovation: wireless connectivity.

Laversab's wireless implementation allows technicians to
bring only an iOS or Microsoft Surface device into the cockpit for testing without having to pull a cable and control box.
All operational controls to measure or leak-check the aircraft
can be managed wirelessly, through an app available for
the iOS and Surface operating systems. The app - which will
be available for free for the lifetime of the product - allows
both touchscreen and virtual keypad input, providing the
most versatility. An Android operating system version will be
available soon, according to Balsaver.
Laversab's new Wi-Fi connectivity feature will be a free
additional feature on every new unit built. This includes the
company's full line of pitot-static test equipment: the 6200
for non-RVSM aircraft, the 6250 for RVSM small jets, the
model 6270 for all RVSM aircraft and the higher-accuracy
