TrueNorth's Optelity Cabin Gateway comes in one
form factor, with three variants: Wi-Fi, Talk and Pro.

The Optelity family is a communications platform designed to work seamlessly with current and future passenger devices and the TrueNorth Stylus
handset. Onboard components, including the Optelity Cabin Gateway and
Optelity Hot Spot, feature advanced
processing power and combine both
light weight and a small footprint for
ease of installation.
A single configurable Optelity Cabin
Gateway unit allows customers to tailor a system to fit their
specific requirements. Features range from simple voice
communication to full-on office capabilities, including popular telephony applications, 3G mobile communications
services and Wi-Fi. The single line-replaceable unit conforms to the ARINC 600 2MCU form factor and is offered
in four variations: Optelity Wi-Fi, Optelity Talk, Optelity Pro
and Optelity Flex.
The entire family of products is app-based, meaning

the Cabin Gateway's functionality is
software-defined and can be modified
almost at will, without downtime or
installation/removal costs, and can be
upgraded to add features, new devices
and new applications as they emerge
over time.
TrueNorth also announced its new
Optelity Care program, which helps
ensure the company's systems will always
keep pace with the latest in devices. With Optelity
Care, all future software and hardware upgrades are
covered, and maintenance costs are predictable. Optelity
Care customers have early access to updates, AOG
service, no-questions-asked advance exchanges for all
installed TrueNorth equipment, plus members-only
hotline, email and support services. Optelity Care is
offered with the Optelity Pro Cabin Gateway, and will be
available through a select group of organizations.
