FreeFlight Systems
FREEFLIGHT SYSTEMS is offering a $500 rebate on its fully-featured
ADS-B and WAAS/GPS solutions. The company made the announcement just days after the Federal Aviation Administration announced its
ADS-B Rebate program that won't become effective until September.
According to the
company, FreeFlight
Systems' Bridge
Rebate offers customers cost savings on
these products today,
allowing them to
take full advantage
of ADS-B benefits
immediately, instead
of waiting for the FAA's effective date to begin.
FreeFlight's program covers products from the company's RANGR
Blue and WAAS/GPS product families. Customers who purchase an
FDL-978-XVR, FDL-978-XVR/G ADS-B system or a 1203C WAAS/GPS
sensor will receive a $500 rebate after the system has been installed
and a rebate form submitted. FreeFlight Systems is also offering a $100
"Thank You" rebate for its customers who took delivery of eligible systems between Jan. 1, 2016, and present day.
"We are excited that the FAA is launching an ADS-B Rebate program
that has re-energized the conversation around ADS-B equipage in general, and the specifics of the different datalinks, including the 978 UAT
link's support of anonymous mode for privacy," said TIM TAYLOR,
president and CEO of FreeFlight Systems. "We are pleased to expand
the concept so that it is available immediately, includes all platform types
and is applicable to all U.S.-registered aircraft, irrespective of fleet size."
Since this is a Bridge Program, customers interested in participating
must take delivery of their system by Sept. 30, 2016, or when the FAA's
ADS-B Rebate program goes live, whichever comes first. Additionally,
the system must be installed before the end of the year.
Unlike the FAA's Program, FreeFlight Systems' Bridge Rebate
extends to all fixed-wing and rotorcraft makes and models. Also, the
FreeFlight Systems program is available to all U.S.-registered aircraft,
and is not limited to "one per owner," opening the door to multi-aircraft
operators, such as flight schools and fleets.

NavWorx
NAVWORX announced a temporary
price reduction on its ADS600-B, a certified UAT providing ADS-B Out and In that
meets the requirements of the FAA's mandate for ADS-B equipage. The ADS600-B
is available for $1,799 with the $200 price
reduction effective immediately.
According to the company, the
ADS600-B is a remote mounted Universal
Access Transceiver, providing 2020 compliant ADS-B Out and ADS-B In for installation in certified aircraft. The ADS600-B
includes a WAAS GPS plus compatibility
with existing transponder and antenna
installationss. The ADS600-B is regularly
priced at $1,999. With the NavWorx rebate
of $200 plus the recently announced FAA
rebate of $500 that takes effect later this
fall, the resultant equipment cost is $1,299.

Avidyne
AVIDYNE introduced its "Don't Wait"
ADS-B Rebate program. The company
made the announcement just days after
the Federal Aviation Administration
announced its ADS-B Rebate program
