TrueNorth also offers a suite of applications designed to
improve in-flight connectivity called Connected Aero, which
builds on satellite connections. Connected.aero is actually a
hybrid cloud solution that applies compression, acceleration,
aggregation and bonding capabilities to make in-flight
connections work as seamlessly and reliably as connections
on the ground - be them at the office, at the coffee shop, or
at home.
The Hybrid Cloud uses cloud-based connectivity in
combination with the company's Optelity product family to
deliver a faster, more-secure communications experience at

connections for cell and Wi-Fi connectivity, the realm of
in-flight connectivity will continue to expand and improve.
For those compelled to stay connected at every turn, these
advances will progressively eliminate what has been one
of the most pervasive dead spots in their efforts - in flight,
aboard aircraft.
For those who enjoy the respite from the growing stream
of emails, texts and phone calls that pervade their lives, the
elimination of in-flight as a safe haven may cause some
consternation.
Still, isolation remains possible - by simply turning off
their devices when the aircraft door closes. Oh, the digital
traffic won't stop - all those contacts will be awaiting them
when the door opens after landing.
