You will become part of the parade as we stroll into the evening's festivities and celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the AEA. Enjoy a sumptuous New Orleans buffet with open bar, live music by NOLA's well-known band, the Bucktown AllStars; beads, masks, and, of course, it wouldn't be a Mardi Gras party without an authentic float and a jazz band to lead the parade! Suggested dress is Mardi Gras-inspired costumes! TICKETS: A party ticket is included in a full meeting registration. Individual tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis for $175 per person. We strongly suggest you purchase extra tickets in advance - there will be a LIMITED number of party tickets available on-site in New Orleans. 38 avionics news * january 2017 8:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. AEA REGULATORY FORUM Moderated by Ric Peri, AEA vice president of government & industry affairs The Regulatory Forum will focus on regulatory changes affecting the AEA membership, field approvals and the availability of replacement parts. As always, this session will include regulatory issues affecting all three aircraft categories: normal and utility; transport; and rotorcraft. 8:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. TRAINING SESSIONS All OEM sessions are approved for credit toward the AEA's Avionics Training Excellence Award, as well as eligible for FAA IA renewal and AMT Awards Program. 10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. RIBBON CUTTING & EXHIBIT HALL OPENING * * Light lunch served in Exhibit Hall AEA Educational Foundation Silent Auction begins in Exhibit Hall
