been a much easier process than other endeavors because of what we
learned with the AEA."
In addition to the repair station manual writing class, Brian and
Bianca have attended other AEA workshops, including basic wiring
and avionics installation and integration, and attended AEA Connect
Conferences.
"For that first class, it was a nice little getaway, going to Kansas City,
the two of us away from the kids," Lorenz said. "We learned so much
that we kept coming back to more and more classes. Mike Adamson can
tell you, we've been to a ton of them. All of them have been fantastic.
It was actually amazing. The AEA is an invaluable resource. It's
unbelievable what we get out of the classes. I can't believe that more
people haven't heard of the organization."
An unexpected passion
Prior to starting 702 Helicopters, Lorenz operated a successful
information technology company that designed telephone software for
call centers. The federal Do Not Call List quickly made his business
