DUNCAN AVIATION recently completed a fully customized Challenger 605

interior and exterior that took a former charter jet and transformed it into a company showcase for its new owner. The interior team and paint shop in Battle
Creek, Michigan, started with a dated interior and exterior and completely redesigned, refurbished, and repainted the entire aircraft.
After viewing the 3-D images of Duncan Aviation's multimedia illustrator, the
customer opted for a more extensive renovation than was originally envisioned.

Aviation Specialties Unlimited
AVIATION SPECIALTIES UNLIMITED was granted approval by the Federal
Aviation Administration to conduct commercial flight operations carrying passengers and cargo while using night vision goggles operating single-engine airplanes.
According to the company, ASU is the first to receive approval to fly NVGs in
a single-engine airplane. This new approval also allows ASU to expand training
to other Part 135 air carrier operators.
"This approval not only gives ASU the ability to use its own aircraft for charter
purposes, but it also enables us to train other Part 135 air carrier operations
on the use of NVGs," said JUSTIN WATLINGTON, director of operations.
"Anything that increases safety while operating an aircraft is significant for ASU,
but also for the entire industry."
