with the blue Becker brand. Becker Avionics has a
history of more than 60 years in providing equipment
to general and corporate aviation, air traffic control,
law enforcement and military organizations around the
world.
FreeFlight Systems is a 21st century company that
was founded in Irving, Texas in 2001. The company
GNSS meets TSO-C145C as the dedicated position
source required for ADS-B, and the BXT6513
transponder meets the ESTO-C112d and TSO-C166b
for ADS-B Out compliance. The complete system
meets the requirements of AC20-165B for ADS-B rule
compliance. The diversity-capable system is suitable for
installation on TCAS I and TCAS II equipped aircraft.
A non-diversity option also is available. The system is
compatible with a variety of common control heads and
can be installed in either single or dual configurations.
An AEA member company since 1995, Becker
Avionics is one of the industry leaders in digital
avionics technology. It is a privately held high-tech
company developing, manufacturing and distributing
communications, navigation, surveillance, and
search and rescue equipment for airborne and ground
operations. The company began in 1956 at the edge of an
airfield in Baden-Baden, in the southwestern part of the
Federal Republic of Germany. Becker Flugfunk GmbH
was founded by one of the entrepreneurs who shaped
postwar Germany.
The company's founder, Max-Egon Becker, along with
Max Grundig, Helmut Horten and Josef Neckermann,
were pioneers in the German economic resurgence of
the 1950s and 1960s. Becker's passion for aviation and
his flair for revolutionary technical solutions identified
