Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall
Airport. Out of the three major airports serving the
Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area, BWI is the busiest
(by passenger count), serving over 25 million passengers
per year. According to the airport's website, total daily
arrivals and departures average as follows:

operational during the FAA's Phase 1 of its tower service
