The service, dubbed TEqSupport, is
the first comprehensive test equipment
maintenance and protection plan in the
industry, according to the company, and
was developed in response to customer
requests for an integrated support,
maintenance and protection plan.
It's built around a one-year warranty
on new and refurbished equipment
purchased from AvionTEq. During that
year, free loaner equipment is available
during recalibration and repairs covered
by the warranty. Free shipping to
and from the company's facilities is
included, along with free technical
support for the purchased equipment.
The plan includes one free recalibration
each year. All documents needed to
operate the equipment and comply
with FAA requirements are supplied on
digital media.
The plan also includes a free
subscription to the company's MyTEq
online test equipment management
tool. Subscribers can use MyTEq
from anywhere in the world with a
computer or smartphone, and access
the information and documents used
in operating the test equipment. The
service helps avionics shops control
and manage their equipment and tools,
and sends automated reminders when
recalibration is due. The service allows
uploading images and diagrams and
make them accessible to anyone from
anywhere, including associated manuals
and technical documents.

BendixKing
New solutions for specific aircraft
needing to meet the looming Jan. 1,
2020, ADS-B deadline were announced
by BendixKing during the AEA
Convention. One solution is for Cessna
Model 525/525A CitationJets and Bravo
550 aircraft equipped with BendixKing's

CNI 5000 communication, navigation
and identification integrated avionics
system. The upgrade provides "a quick,
affordable and easy" path to compliance
with the ADS-B mandate, according to
the company.
The upgrade is a direct replacement

for the CNI 5000 in the three Cessna
models. It's designed to be an easy
installation - cutting is not required,
and the company advertises a less
than four-hour turnaround under many
