Currently, the company is producing several varieties of
vacuum artificial horizons and electric gyro horizons. The
newest addition is the series of digital attitude indicators,
including one with pitot-static inputs, giving it airspeed
capabilities. Moreover, the company is producing several
electric and vacuum-operated directional gyros. They offer
compatibility with S-Tec, and Century autopilots. To go
along with the digital attitude indicator, KMC produces
a digital heading indicator. Of course, the company is
producing turn-and-bank indicators.
"We are expecting new instruments to sell well," Turner
said. "Our market is very much helicopter (VFR). We get
quite a bit of business because the product is simple and
requires no alteration to the panel. Old and new products
have the new connector."
KMC manufactures an emergency standby power unit
designed to supply their electric instruments for an hour
and their digital instruments for up to six hours. The
lithium-polymer unit will give peace of mind for pilots
using electric instruments. The ESP will not drain the
aircraft battery when the master is off. It will charge only
when the aircraft is operating.

In addition to the flight instruments, KMC produces
tachometers, torque meters, low voltage warning systems
and a 406 MHz ELT with an integrated GPS.
The Kelly website lists 17 different distributors for
its products. Customers wishing to order instruments
need to identify the model number, the aircraft voltage,
whether the instrument is to be lighted or not, and if
lighted, the voltage of the lighting system. They should
also indicate whether they desire a fixed or moveable
pointer (on the attitude indicators) and the tilt angle of
the instrument panel.
Turner said family ownership allows KMC to keep
prices reasonable and be the everyman's pilot-friendly
company. Regarding shows, and KMC goes to several,
Turner said: "The nice thing about listening is you learn
what they want and can take it back to the company."
Listening, family ownership, and changing with the
