Grantham, M.D.
Grantham, a
world-renowned
nephrologist, established both the
University of Kansas
Kidney Institute and the Polycystic
Kidney Disease Foundation, an international organization that supports
patients around the world. He served
on the Baker University Board of
Trustees and the President's Advisory
Council. He and his wife, Carol, were
among the donor champions for the
$11.3 million renovation of the science
facility.

Alan Mauch, a
history and political science major,
remained engaged
with his alma mater
throughout his life.
He was known for
his dedication to
the Kappa Sigma fraternity and the
parMentor program in addition to
supporting many of the university's
most meaningful capital projects. For
the last two years, Mauch served as
the Chairman of the Baker University
Board of Trustees; his tenure on the
board spanned 18 years and three
presidencies. Mauch worked for 23
years in the reinsurance industry,
retiring as executive vice president at
Employers Reinsurance Corp. (G.E.).
