The organization has been around since the creation of the Federal Crop Insurance Act of 1980 and has served the industry as an effective Washington voice ever since. AACI's mission is to "provide lobbying for the crop insurance industry where members exercise First Amendment to the Constitution rights by communicating in a united voice with Congress and the Executive branch." The trade association has helped expand Federal Crop Insurance protection for Amer- provides support and membership services to crop insurance and reinsurance companies.
