Service Bureau instructions list required materials
for this May Queen slip-over costume.
Each Booklet would contain
detailed instructions about how
to easily handle crepe paper.
Crepe was far more forgiving
and much more flexible than
fabric, allowing you to stretch,
crinkle, crush or fringe it into
place. With a little sewing or
some glue you could quickly
fashion a costume or frock.
Here are a few of the
booklets Dennison
printed. Flower making
was ever popular and
remains so today.
