Left: "Baby Bundy" was the first doll to be designed by Joseph Kallus. These dolls are all composition and measure 12 inches with movable arms and rigid bodies. They were first made in 1918 at Rex Doll Co. Below: Howdy Doody is one of the most popular characters in early television. The red headed puppet was created by Bob Smith, and the wood segmented doll was manufactured beginning in 1947 by Cameo. He measures 13 inches and was one of the last Joseph Kallus wood segmented and composition characters to be created. Left: From Gulliver's Travels are "Gaby" and "King Little" measuring 11 inches and 13 inches.
