"Bandy" also came in a 17-inch mold and also in a variation that did not advertise for GE Radio. "Bandy" is an 18-inch molded composition and wood segmented advertising character for GE Radio. He was based on the advertising design art by Maxfield Parrish and created by Joseph Kallus. "Bandy" was produced by Cameo beginning in 1935. This "Bandy" is missing his baton but features his rare GE Radio mascot pin. The slot in his hands is to hold business cards. The primary purpose of the extravagantly made "Bandy Band Master" was for display in stores featuring GE Radio products. 126 FALL 2017
