First made in 1930, the "Radiotron" character is 15-1/2 inches tall. This is a detail of the design patent filed by J. L. Kallus Oct. 7, 1930. "Superman" is one of the last of the wood segmented and composition creations by Joseph Kallus. Based on the 1930s comic character, he was released during the period the character was popular in films. He is 14 inches tall and comes with a cloth cape.
