The Kuna Indians of San Blas are known for their reverse appliquéd molas- colorful panels used as the front and back of blouses and also sold as single panels. This 8-inch souvenir doll is carved from a soft wood with a stump body marked on the bottom "San Blas Is." The face is drawn on with a pen. She wears a polyester print headdress.
