SLEEVE TUCKS: 8. Pin only the double notched side of sleeve seam and stitch together. Press open and trim the seam. Follow instructions below for making the three sleeve tucks. The three notches show the placement of folded edge of each tuck. With pins, mark the first tuck line across entire sleeve. Fold on pin line and hand-stitch a 3/16inch tuck. This tuck is closest to cuff edge. Measure up 5/8-inch from fold edge of the first tuck, mark with pins and hand-stitch the second tuck. Repeat for the third tuck. When tucks are completed, fold bottom edge of sleeve up ¼-inch (RT to RT sides). Stitch across and press. 9. Included is a template, sized for the trim of my sleeve. The bottom edge of your sleeves will depend on your trim but it should be the width and depth of the template. Use your judgment for the edge placement of the lace trim you are using. Stitch sleeve trim to both sleeves approximately ⅛-inch below the bottom of the first sleeve tuck. Trim away both fabric sides of the ⅛-inch entredeux. Set it on top of the top edge of sleeve trim and hand- stitch through each entredeux square. Stitch the back-sleeve seam on each sleeve, clip the curves, turn, and set aside.
